GameTime is not only a leading manufacturer in the commercial playground equipment industry but also produces amazing outdoor fitness equipment (among other things). Recently Haverford College in Haverford, Pennsylvania had an outdoor fitness area created and installed by GameTime called THRIVE.

This area is available for use by students, faculty, and staff free of charge. Located near the college’s athletic fields, it’s placement is perfect for use all day long. Haverford has a long history of promoting student health and wellness. The THRIVE unit was opened in 2023 and is there to encourage students to be more active outdoors.

As you can imagine the THRIVE unit has been a big hit and continues to be used by students daily for support in improving physical and mental health. Spending time outdoors and in nature can improve several aspects of the human mind and health.

Haverford is just one of several colleges and communities that have invested in the physical and mental health of their patrons by creating an outdoor fitness area.
