New Bleachers Installed at Rutherford High School – Vera Champlain Complex

Installed Summer 2025 | Struthers Recreation Project

Struthers Recreation recently completed the installation of new 10-row, 49.5' length aluminum bleachers at Rutherford High School’s Vera Champlain Complex, bringing a major upgrade to the athletic facilities just in time for the new school year.

The bleachers are built for durability, comfort, and everyday use—offering ample seating for fans and spectators. As part of the installation, five ADA-compliant seating spaces were included to ensure that individuals using mobility devices have a safe, accessible place to enjoy the game alongside everyone else. Allowing for a seating capacity of 281 including the ADA seating areas.

Located with a clear view of the athletic fields, these bleachers are built from weather-resistant aluminum and designed to stand up to heavy use with minimal maintenance.
