Mason’s Place Inclusive Playground – Northport, AL
Mason’s Place is more than just a playground—it’s a community destination designed for children and families of all ages and abilities to play, explore, and connect. This inclusive play space, located in Sokol Park South at 5901 Watermelon Road in Northport, Alabama, features innovative GameTime playground equipment with a design that reflects the character and pride of Tuscaloosa.
A Playground for Everyone
Accessibility and inclusivity were at the heart of Mason’s Place from the very beginning. The playground was carefully designed to ensure children of all physical, sensory, and developmental abilities can play side by side. From ramped access to ground-level play components, every detail encourages interaction, movement, and imagination in a way that makes no child feel left out.
Celebrating Tuscaloosa’s Landmarks
To make the playground truly special, the design team incorporated custom play pieces inspired by Tuscaloosa and the University of Alabama. These iconic touches give Mason’s Place a hometown identity and make it a landmark in its own right. Children can experience the joy of play while also celebrating the culture and community spirit of the area.
Features and Play Value
Mason’s Place offers a variety of play opportunities for kids of all ages:

A Lasting Impact
