Leeds Memorial Park Debuts National Demonstration Site Playground

The City of Leeds has transformed the playground at Leeds Memorial Park with all-new GameTime play equipment—designed to bring inclusive, active fun to children of all abilities.

The updated space features an accessible Aventus Tower, a wheelchair-accessible Inclusive Whirl, a multi-user seesaw designed for everyone, and other engaging elements that promote movement and social play. With a focus on inclusive design and physical activity, the new playground has been recognized by PlayCore as a National Demonstration Site for PlayOn!, a program that promotes physical activity through outdoor play.

Installed and designed by Struthers Recreation, this space reflects best practices in play and accessibility—inviting the entire community to connect, explore, and move together.
