Delta Charter School Unveils All-New Playground in Ferriday, LA

Delta Charter School in Ferriday, Louisiana, is now home to an exciting new playground designed to promote active play, creativity, and inclusive fun for students of all ages. Installed and designed by Struthers Recreation, the playground features high-quality GameTime equipment and was thoughtfully crafted to support physical development and social interaction in a safe, engaging environment.

The upgraded play area includes a variety of climbing structures, slides, and imaginative elements that encourage exploration and teamwork. With safety surfacing underfoot and a vibrant layout tailored to children of different age groups and abilities, this playground is a valuable new resource for the school community.

At Struthers, our goal is always to create spaces that inspire kids to move, play, and connect. We’re proud to support Delta Charter School’s commitment to outdoor learning and active play.

This project is part of Struthers Recreation’s ongoing effort to bring innovative and inclusive play spaces to schools and communities across the Southeast. From design to installation, every detail was planned with the school’s needs in mind—creating a destination students will enjoy for years to come.
