New Playground Brings More Opportunities for Play at Cordova Elementary School

Students at Cordova Elementary School in Cordova, Alabama, have a brand-new place to climb, swing, explore, and play! Struthers Recreation partnered with the school to create a playground designed for active fun while providing lasting durability and comfort for years to come.

The new playground features a colorful play structure with integrated shade to help keep play areas cooler during sunny Alabama days. Freestanding play components expand the play experience by giving students even more ways to stay active, build confidence, and engage with friends during recess.

Engineered Wood Fiber (EWF) safety surfacing provides a natural-looking, accessible play surface that helps protect children while they play. Combined with thoughtful playground design, the new space encourages movement, imagination, social interaction, and healthy outdoor activity for students of all ages.

At Struthers Recreation, we're proud to help schools throughout Alabama create outdoor environments that inspire learning through play.
