Bethune Park is the latest inclusive playground initiative brought to life by Saint Charles Parish Parks and Recreation. Designed to welcome children of all abilities, this innovative new space is a National Demonstration Site for Inclusive Play—a designation that highlights its commitment to accessibility, community engagement, and universal design.

The playground was thoughtfully created using the Seven Principles of Inclusive Playground Design to ensure everyone can play, learn, and grow together. From sensory-rich elements to accessible play features, Bethune Park fosters meaningful play experiences for people of all ages and abilities.
