Struthers Recreation was proud to partner on the new GameTime playground installation at Childersburg Elementary School in Childersburg, Alabama. Designed to support active play, social interaction, and outdoor recreation, this new space provides students with a variety of opportunities to climb, explore, play, and stay active throughout the school day.
The project features a custom playground structure paired with freestanding play elements that expand the range of play experiences available to children of different ages and abilities. The thoughtfully designed layout encourages movement, imagination, and social engagement while creating multiple destinations for students to enjoy.
In addition to the playground equipment, the project includes basketball goals that provide opportunities for active recreation and organized play. Durable poured-in-place rubber safety surfacing offers accessible, low-maintenance protection in the ramped play area while creating a colorful and inviting environment.
The result is a vibrant outdoor recreation space that supports physical activity, encourages inclusive play, and provides Childersburg Elementary students with a safe place to learn, play, and grow for years to come.
